Microsoft Dynamics NAV is a 32-bit applications. A 64-bit Windows operating system supports both 32-bit applications and 64-bit applications. Therefore, you can run Microsoft Dynamics NAV on a computer that is running a 64-bit version of the Windows operating system by using the Windows on Windows (WOW) 32-bit compatibility mode.
Since Microsoft Dynamics NAV is designed as a 32-bit application, you may experience some compatibility issues when you run Microsoft Dynamics NAV on a computer that is running a 64-bit version of the Windows operating system.
