Organizations issue RFQs when they want to receive competitive offers from several vendors for the items or services that they must purchase. In an RFQ, you ask vendors to provide the prices and delivery times for the item quantities that you specify.
We are receiving request from cutomers that the sales team need mobile app to capture the RFQ during the business events, fairs and seminars. Sales team is facing challanges to capture all the information quickly and correctly.
We have designed and developed an easy to use RFQ Mobile App Integrated With Dynamics NAV 2016. Sales team can collect all the information through the mobile app and that will be synched to the NAV ERP. Synchronization can be take place whenever internet will be available.
RFQ mobile app has all the catalog available with images and other specifications. Sales team can browse the catalog and add in the RFQ with all the required specifications. After the events, sales team can connect with the contact and share the sales quote based on the RFQ. This is especially useful for organizations that are doing a lot of quotes to prospects that might not turn into customers. With this method you don’t need to create customer that are not actually your customer.
Dynamics NAV has two ways to create a sales quote:
- Select sales quotes from the contact card and then click new (which will automatically add the contact to the sales quote)
- Visit the list of sales quotes from the main menu, select new and add the contact in the sell-to contact no. field. With both methods you end up with a sales quote where the sell-to customer no. is empty.
Mobile App will save all RFQ data locally and once internet connection is available the same would be synched to the NAV ERP.
